How to print your name coloring pages
A practical guide to A4, Letter, printer margins, and saving a PDF.
Check the paper tray first
Look at the paper loaded in your printer before choosing a download. An A4 sheet is slightly taller and narrower than US Letter. Select the matching size beside the download buttons so the PDF is prepared for your paper.
Download a sample sheet
Make one page with a familiar short name and save the PDF. Open it in a PDF viewer and select the same orientation as the page. Print the sample before preparing a class set or using thicker paper.
If an edge is missing
Most home and school printers leave a small unprinted margin. Select a fit or shrink-to-printable-area option when the border is cut off. For direct browser printing, remove the automatic page title, address, and date in the print settings.
Keep the digital copy for another day
Save the PDF somewhere you can find it again. A PNG can be inserted into a digital worksheet, while the SVG is a scalable image with outlined lettering. For a multi-page group activity, choose the class PDF rather than downloading individual images.
